Power optimisers fitted to rails
The power optimiser looks after one module, If there is a shading issue at a particular part of the day, it will not affect the whole string as with single string inverters. The unshaded modules will continue to give a good output. The power optimisers communicate with the inverter and relay each modules output.
Solar Edge SE4000
The Inverter, This converts the DC energy from the Modules to a Usable AC which it feeds to your house circuits (or the grid) It has an Ethernet connection which will feed the individual Module data received from the power optimisers to the Solar Edge server. You can examine the generation levels in great detail using the Solar Edge Dashboard.
Electrical Installation
Single Phase Domestic property, Additional one way consumer unit was added. The AC, DC isolators & the generation meter were fitted on the board. Full AC & DC testing carried out and an Electrical Installation Certificate issued. (Click picture for circuit diagram)
